If You're not You will become one. We are now traveling with a group of 27 very nice Swedish new friends. Karin, our guide and owner of the travel agency Thabela Travel is doing a great job!! Started Nov 25 in Quito with a city tour, followed by an afternoon and evening and night in our very luxury hotel room, thank God for room service! We spent the weekend on a ship, 90 passengers big, and went cruising around the Galapagos islands. Sooooooo nice!!!!!!!!!! What about Waved Albatross, Blue-footed booby, Nazca booby, Galapagos penguin, Pelican, Finches (Darwin found 13 different kinds), Giant tortoise, Land and Marine iguanas, Sea turtle, lots and lots of sea lions, Sally light-footed crabs etc etc. visiting Santa Cruz, Isabela, Fernandina, Española and San Cristobal Islands.

One early morning we were Whale watching...and YES a Whale family is around us!!! And some dolphins are playing in the waves... We are in heaven! Can You imagine how good the breakfast taste after this? Even better!!! Yesterday we checked out from our boat and now we stay for another two days at a very good hotel, Finch Bay, just a short boat ride from Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island. We spent the afternoon at Darwin’s research center, very interesting. Do You now that a giant tortoise male called "Diego" (stolen from Galapagos to the zoo of San Diego and given back to Darwin’s center) has saved one sort of tortoises by making 1.000 new baby tortoises! They only had two other males left....

Today we have been scuba diving. GREAT!!! We didn't bring our camera as we had a very strong current, but we saw Hammerhead sharks!!! And a beautiful blue nudibranch only to be found here in Galapagos and other sharks, stingrays, a school of barracudas, sea turtles etc etc. We will leave Galapagos tomorrow morning and continue our "group trip" to the countryside in Ecuador and then to Peru.

Big hugs from us that can't believe its December soon, Sweden has snow and Anders has his birthday on Thursday.
